Mayer's office says at around 2:30 early Thursday morning, officers were called to the area of Blackwood-Clementon Road and Spring Garden Street for a report of a person lying in the road. At the scene, cops observed a vehicle with front-end damage leaving the area at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was stopped and Ferraiolo was taken into custody.

The victim, 56-year-old David Bonnet of Gloucester Township, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ferraiolo was processed and released pending further court proceedings.
