"Multiple acts" of Domestic Violence
According to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland's office, Linnington was initially charged on April 11th, 2022, following an investigation after it was reported that he had "committed multiple acts of domestic violence against his then-pregnant [fiancée]."
Linnington will be required to serve at least 85 percent, or almost seven years, of his sentence. Once he is released, he will be under five years of parole supervision, and he cannot have contact with the victim.
Sutherland said in a social media post,
The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office will always pursue and prosecute perpetrators of Domestic Violence to the fullest extent of the law to ensure victims receive justice.
