Little Rock Films and Studios, an independent filmmaker based in Ventnor, is looking for extras in a variety of roles for a TV pilot set in Atlantic City. 48 Blocks is described as a drama showing 'the grit and glitter of present-day Atlantic City...where "The Wire" meets "This is Us".'

Little Rock Films is seeking non-union talent to portray background roles in the shooting of for the pilot of 48 Blocks.

Let me say right up front that you won't get rich as a part of this project, the pay is food and IMDB credit, but everybody has to start somewhere.

You will have act quickly to fill one of these roles as shooting is planned for the next week around Atlantic City.

Story: Just like on the court, one false move can lose the game. Against the grit and glitter of current day Atlantic City, we find former NBA star "King"...a man under pressure. His enemies are out to bring him down along with the nameless playground he donated to the community. If Question Mark Park gets razed, so will the secrets he's kept buried below the surface.

Will be portraying a barbershop patron. (No actual cutting will occur) Sunday, Sept. 29 in Atlantic City.

FUNERAL ATTENDEES (Any gender / 18-75 / AfricanAm)
Portraying funeral attendees at a Baptist Church. Friday, Sept. 27 in Atlantic City.

CITY COUNCIL ATTENDEES (Any gender / 35 to 75 / Any ethnicity)
Will be portraying an audience member at a city council meeting. Monday, Sept. 30 in Ventnor, NJ.

HIGH SCHOOL TEENS(Any gender / 16-20 / Any ethnicity)
Talent must be 18+ years of age but look like they could be in high school. Thursday, Sept. 26 in Atlantic City.

BASKETBALL PLAYERS(Male / 16 to 20 / Any ethnicity)
Must have strong basketball skills. Talent must be 18+ years of age but look like they could be in high school. Thursday, Sept. 26 in Atlantic City.

BAR & RESTAURANT PATRONS (Any gender / 18+ / Any ethnicity)
Will be portraying patrons at a bar/restaurant. Wednesday, Sept. 25 in Atlantic City.

CASINO LOUNGE PATRONS (Any gender / 18+ / Any ethnicity)
Will be portraying patrons listening to a band at a casino lounge. Wednesday, Sept. 25 in Atlantic City.

LOUNGE BAND MEMBERS (Any gender / 18+ / Any ethnicity)
Will be portraying a musician in a band. Must own dark suit. Please note if you can actually play an instrument. Wednesday, Sept. 25 in Atlantic City.

MIDDLE AGED WOMAN (Female / 50-60/ Any ethnicity)
Will be portraying a woman pushing a cart loaded with bottles and cans. Friday, Sept. 27 in Atlantic City.

STRIP CLUB PATRON (Male / 25-55/ Any ethnicity)
Will be portraying a patron at a strip club. Tuesday, Sept. 24 in Atlantic City.

PEDESTRIANS (Any gender / 18+ / Any ethnicity)
Will be portraying a pedestrian walking on the boardwalk or street in either Ventnor or Atlantic City. Multiple people needed. Note what day you are available in your submission. Available days: September 23, 27, & 29.

BICYCLE RIDER ON BOARDWALK(Any gender / 18+ / Any ethnicity)
Will be portraying a person riding their bicycle on the boardwalk. Sunday, Sept. 29 in Ventnor or Atlantic City.
