Cops in Atlantic City are asking for your help as they continue to investigate two separate shootings in the city over the weekend.

According to police, the first shooting happened at 9:45 last Friday night in the 400 block of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Boulevard; cops responded after they received a ShotSpotter alert. The ACPD says a 25-year-old woman from Atlantic City suffered a graze wound. She initially refused medical attention only to later be seen at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division.

The second incident happened about 48 hours later at 8:45 Sunday night when a 31-year-old man from Pleasantville walked into the medical center with a gunshot wound. The man said that he was shot in the 1100 block of Ohio Avenue, which was confirmed by ShotSpotter.

This latest round of violence comes about a week after cops arrested two dozen people along Pacific Avenue as they focused on drug and quality-of-life issues. In those operations, one gun, over 370 bags of heroin, 9.6 grams of unpackaged heroin, 45 grams of cocaine, and nearly 40 grams of marijuana were seized.
