Cops: Sex Offender Arrested for Taking Bathroom Pictures of Boy in Stafford Twp., NJ
A convicted sex offender has been arrested for allegedly taking pictures of a 7-year-old boy under a bathroom stall at Costco in Stafford Township.
Police say they responded to the store last Friday afternoon after getting an initial report of a suspicious person, but upon talking to the little boy's father, they learned there was more going on at the store.
Upon further investigation, Stafford Police said they learned that 39-year-old Christopher Dinverno of Barnegat was involved in previous incidents at Costco.
Police found him at the Stafford Diner and they placed him under arrest and brought him to the station where after speaking with him, Dinverno was charged with invasion of privacy and endangering the welfare of a child.
He is currently being held in the Ocean County Jail.
Dinverno is already a convicted sex offender under Megan’s Law and is subject to community supervision for life.
