Cops say a Williamstown man was speeding at over 100 MPH on the Black Horse Pike before a fiery crash that killed a man from EHT last month.

Monroe Township Police have charged 28-year-old Michael Walters with death by auto in connection with an accident on the Black Horse Pike near South Main Street on February 9th, according to The Daily Journal.

NJ.com reports the man from EHT was driving a pick-up truck on the evening of February 9th when he collided with a car being driven by Walters. Cops say the pick-up driver entered the highway and failed to yield to Walters. The truck caught fire and the driver suffered serious burns over most of his body; he died last week.

Police obtained a search warrant for the car's airbag control module which showed the vehicle was being operated at a high rate of speed.
