6ABC.com reports a deck on the front of a residential property in Sea Isle City collapsed Thursday morning while a group of young people were on it.

Multiple witnesses have reported a different number of people enjoying the outdoor space when the incident occurred, but one of the victims of the collapse, Skylar Donchez, told 6ABC that it was only about ten people. According to other bystanders, though, that number could have possibly exceeded twenty.

The deck crumbled underneath the group's feet after they heard what Donchez describes as a cracking sound. Then, she says, the deck, "fell backwards," according to 6ABC. Donchez was then treated at the hospital for a concussion.
