Two Cape May County men are each facing a long list of charges in connection with a stolen vehicle, drugs, and weapons.

42-year-old Brian Henderson of Wildwood and 47-year-old Calvin Fabio of Burleigh have been arrested in a case that dates back to late last year.

Stolen Vehicle Report Sparks Investigation

According to the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office, on December 28th, the North Wildwood Police Department received a report of a stolen vehicle, and an investigation identified Henderson as the accused.

The following day, Henderson and the stolen vehicle were located in Wildwood, and a search warrant yielded a ballistic vest, knife, tactical gun belt and holster, three large-capacity rifle magazines, ammunition, a covert camera, two firearm suppressors, a tactical helmet, and additional firearm accessories and components.

As a result, Henderson was charged with the following:

  • Manufacture, Transport, Defacement of Weapons (2nd Degree)
  • Theft of a Motor Vehicle (3rd Degree)
  • Prohibited Weapons and Devices (4th Degree)
  • Prohibited Weapons and Devices (4th Degree)
  • Certain Persons Not to Have Weapons or Ammunition (4th Degree).

Officials said as they continued their investigation, which included a look at Henderson's cell phones, they identified Fabio as an accomplice in this case.

On March 27th, a search warrant was executed at a storage unit at Burleigh Storage, where Fabio exited the unit and was safely taken into custody, per authorities.

Prosecutors said a search there revealed an AR-15 lower receiver, one polymer 80% "ghost gun" lower receiver, a drill press utilized in the manufacturing of firearms, approximately 5.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine, one high-capacity magazine loaded with 14 rounds of ammunition, a pellet gun, multiple firearm holsters, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and a ballistic vest carrier.

As a result, Fabio was charged on a summons with the following:

  • Manufacture, Transport, Defacement of Weapons (2nd Degree / 2 counts)
  • Conspiracy to Manufacture, Transport, Defacement of Weapons (2nd Degree)
  • Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (3rd Degree)
  • Distribution of Drug Paraphernalia (4th Degree)
  • Possession of a High-Capacity Magazine (4th Degree)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Disorderly Persons Offense)

The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
