The owner of Distinctive CarToyz is asking for help identifying a man who attempted to break into his business on Sunday and then stole some wood from the lot outside before driving off when the alarm rang.

Thomas Way, the owner of Distinctive CarToyz, posted video from a Ring Cam taken outside his new business location in Egg Harbor Township, where a man driving an older model Ford Explorer with a New Jersey licence plate drove on to the closed property Sunday morning.

The man can be seen driving on to the business lot and stopping at a side garage door where he tries to enter the business. When he is unable to gain entry, the man begins to root through a pile of wood outside where construction is still underway.

After packing several pieces of lumber into the back of his vehicle, the man can be seen driving off quickly after the store owner activated the alarm system.

The vehicle's licence plate can't be seen clearly enough to get the plate number. The man driving is a tall, middle-aged white guy.

Thomas Way posted several photos attached here and the Ring Cam video, with this message...
