UPDATE - 2:10PM:

Philly.com is reporting details on James Kauffman's suicide:

According to sources, the suicide involved tearing a strip of bed sheeting from a sheet and twisting it into a very tight, garrott that went around his neck. When his cellmate was out at a court appearance, Kauffman apparently lopped the sheet onto the slats of the lower bunk, lay face down and created “just enough pressure to suffocate him, but it looks like he’s sleeping,” one source said. “This was very thought out,” the source said.

The investigation is continuing and we will have no further comment at this time.
