Driver Arrested After Driving on I-95 for Ten Minutes in PA with No Tires

A driver was arrested earlier this morning (Tuesday) after several motorists reported the vehicle was traveling on I-95 southbound with no tires.

Viewers sent pictures of the vehicle to 6ABC's Action News:

Yeah, 6ABC says that the driver of the BMW convertible was traveling down the southbound highway for about ten minutes before being stopped.

Other cars on the roadway said the vehicle was pulling up concrete and debris, some of which struck other vehicles. The extent of the damage to other vehicles or the highway was not made immediately clear.

Pennsylvania State Police stopped the driver near mile marker 25 (Allegheny Avenue) in Philadelphia. The driver is being tested for a DUI, officials told WPVI-TV.
