
Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, Man Charged in Gas Station Robbery and Possibly More
An Egg Harbor Township man has been charged in connection to a gas station robbery in Gloucester County.
South Jersey Gas Station Robbery
The Washington Township Police Department says that robbery happened last Wednesday, May 21st, at a Sunoco station.
The following day, one of their officers stopped a vehicle in connection to that crime on Route 42.
The driver, identified as 39-year-old John Lomonaco of Egg Harbor Twp., admitted to the robbery and was taken into custody, according to police.
Monroe Twp. Cops Also Interested
Monroe Township Police Department detectives then said they wanted to question Lomonaco regarding several smash-and-grab thefts in their area.
Lomonaco was turned over to Monroe Twp. Police before being transported to county jail.
