EHT Wrestling Incident Results in Stabbing

Early Sunday morning, Egg Harbor Township police responded to a residence in reference to a stabbing.

When officers arrived, they made contact with the victim, 26-year-old Ryan Dix, who suffered a stab wound to the abdomen during a wrestling incident with his brother that escalated. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to AtlantiCare City Campus.

Arrested at the scene was 29-year-old Matthew Dix, who was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses. Bail was set at $25,000.
