
NJ Troopers Seek Help With 3 AM Fatal Hit-and-run on Interstate 80
Authorities Investigating Fatal Hit-and-Run on I-80 in Paterson
Authorities are asking for help as they continue to investigate a fatal hit-and-run accident on Interstate 80 in Passaic County.
State troopers say that at about 2:55 during the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 4th, an unknown large commercial vehicle or tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound on I-80.
Crash Occurred Near Exit 60 for Hawthorne and Clifton
In the area of milepost 59.5 in Paterson, approaching the area of Exit 60 for Hawthorne and Clifton, that vehicle struck a pedestrian and failed to stop at the scene. Sadly, the pedestrian sustained fatal injuries.
NJ State Police Asking For Help
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or the events prior to or after is asked to contact the detective bureau at NJSP Troop B Totowa Station by calling (973) 785-9412. Anonymous tips are welcome.
