Fiery Fatal Car Crash In Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey
On Saturday, April 15, 2023 at approximately 12:41 a.m., the Egg Harbor Township Police responded to a single car crash at Hartford Drive and Zion Road.
“Upon police arrival, officers found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames and were unable to approach. In addition, several neighbors had exited their homes and initially attempted to rescue the driver but were unsuccessful,” according to the Egg Harbor Township Police Department.
Temitayo O. Ali, (22) from Egg Harbor Township was sole occupant of a 2008 Infiniti. Ali was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The crash investigation is ongoing and being conducted by the Egg Harbor Township Police Department Traffic Safety Unit Officers Patrick Daly and Robert Moran. The Scullville Fire Department along with Egg Harbor Township EMS assisted at the scene,” according to the Egg Harbor Township Police Department.
The Egg Harbor Township Police have also confirmed that nearby neighbors left their homes and tried to assist and rescue the driver. They were unable to.
