Are you ready for Pink on the beach in Atlantic City? The first of this summer's BeachFest Concerts happens this Wednesday, July 12. Before you go, here are five things you should know about Pink and Wednesday's concert.

1- Pink was born Alecia Beth Moore on September 8, 1979, in Doylestown, PA. Pink gets her performing name from the movie Reservoir Dogs, a film she saw as a teenager and whose character Mr. Pink is someone her friends all agreed she resembled.

2- Pink married her boyfriend, Motocross star Carey Hart, after proposing to him during one of his races. Pink's union with Hart proved to be tumultuous, and just two years after they exchanged vows, the couple separated. They later reconciled, however, and now have two children, 6-year-old daughter Willow Sage, and a baby boy, Jameson Moon, born in December.

3-Wednesday's Atlantic City Beach Concert is Pink's only east coast appearance and just her third in 2017 after taking off the last three years from performing. During a concert July 2nd in Milwaukee she performed with six dancers, with a set that included covers of Led Zeppelin and the Janis Joplin hit "Me and Bobby Mcgee"

4- Pink, a three-time Grammy winner performs Wednesday on the Atlantic City beach, with the stage located between Arkansas and Michigan Avenues. Dreamcar and PVRIS will open the show.

Festivities kick off at 5 p.m., and tickets are $49.50 for general admission, with closer spots $89.50 to $129.50, available through Ticketmaster.
