It took 738 regular season games, but Flyers captain Claude Giroux was able to do a pair of things he had never done before - score a hat-trick and hit the century mark for points in a season.

The three goals gave him 34 for the season and a total 102 points in 82 games, but it was his first goal of the game that allowed him to join Bobby Clarke (3), Mark Recchi (2), Rick MacLeish, Bill Barber & Eric Lindros as the only players to hit the 100 point mark for the Flyers.

It marked the first time a Flyer had scored at least 100 points in a season since 1995-96 when Lindros (115) did it.

Entering the playoff series with Pittsburgh, Giroux is playing his best hockey at the right time, with a ten-game point streak and he's collected at least one point in 17 of his last 18 games.
