Former Atlantic County, NJ, Freeholder & EHT Official Has Died
Condolences are pouring-in on social media following the passing of John Carman.
Carman died this afternoon after a brief illness. The news has shocked the Atlantic County, New Jersey community.
Carman fought bravely to the end. For those who knew John, this comes as no surprise.
Carman’s daughter, Cherie Burgan wrote a profound social media post just hours before her Father passed away. It beautifully read as follows:
“I believe in the healing power of prayer and I know that God still performs miracles to this day.
My father is very sick, but he has hope that treatment is going to work and that he can be healed completely. He made that crystal clear tonight. I am not going to allow him to be alone in that hope.
To all of my friends and family who believe, please pray with me that my father, John, will supernaturally find not only the doctors with skills that he needs, but that he will have test results that will come back with miracles that cannot be explained by anything other than God's hand in things. We are not only hoping, but praying and believing this in Jesus name,” said Burgan.
Burgan is a distinguished Captain of Police for the Egg Harbor Township Police Department.
John Carman was also an active member of the American Legion Post # 352 Legion Riders. Carman participated in countless honorable events, where the Legion Riders have served such a profound public purpose.
Long-time American Legion Post 352 Commander, Bill Butier wrote the following about John Carman:
“I’m totally shocked ...... John was a great friend and my bunky at Rolling Thunder in DC ..... such a loss to Post 352 Riders..... Thank you John..... My condolences to Jo and family,” wrote Butler.
John Carman was a great American Patriot, who was not afraid to tell it like it is.
May John Carman rest in peace.
