Galloway and Little Egg Harbor Township Police Get the Same Man

It appears that police in Galloway Township and Little Egg Harbor were searching for the same man -- and he's now in custody.

Earlier this week, Galloway Township Police were looking to identify a burglar, while police in Little Egg Harbor were trying to find a wanted man. Now, an arrest has been made.

Police in Galloway Township say Michael J. Arsenault, 59, of Little Egg Harbor has been arrested and is being held in the Atlantic County Jail.

On Tuesday 7/9/2019 officers of the Galloway Township Police Department, Criminal Investigations Division arrested Michael J. Arsenault, of Little Egg Harbor Twp. on charges of Burglary, Theft, Criminal Mischief, and Possession of Burglary Tools. The arrest of Arsenault stems from an investigation of an incident originally reported on July 9th, 2019. The business owner of Pocket Full of Posies Florist reported a burglary to their business on the evening of Sunday, July 7th, 2019. Cash, as well multiple handbags were removed from the business, valued at approximately $1,000. Galloway Detectives were assisted in the investigation by members of the Little Egg Harbor Twp Criminal Investigations Bureau. Arsenault is currently lodged in Ocean County Jail.
