Galloway Teen Hurt After Bicycle Collision With Car
A teen was hurt in an early morning crash this morning in Galloway after being struck by a car.
The Press of Atlantic City reports that the teen was on his bike and traveling on East Great creek Road and South Wrangeboro Road when he collided with a car driven by Lisa Keiner also of Galloway.
The teen was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and suffered a head injury. Police are investigating the accident.
I can't help but think of my two boys who still continue to ride their bikes without a safety helmet after numerous attempts by me to have them do so. The most serious injuries in a majority of bicycle accidents and deaths are to the head, which is why its so important to wear a helmet when you're on your bike.
