Here is a statement from Atlantic City Electric as follows:

Regarding Governor Murphy’s announcement today on the extension of the moratorium on utility disconnects, please see the below. I am away from the office this afternoon. If you would like any additional information, please contact our media hotline at 1-866-655-2237.

We understand our customers and communities have been significantly affected by the pandemic and we will continue to work with customers who have fallen behind on their energy bills.

We want to help every customer through difficult times and, as part of that effort, will establish payment arrangements and secure energy assistance that can help our customers avoid falling even further behind.

But customers must contact us now for help. Only 15 percent of customers who are behind on their bills have contacted us and established payment arrangements. Tens of millions of dollars in energy assistance also remains available to assist customers.

We are here to help our customers establish a plan and to help them manage the impacts of this pandemic. Customers can establish payment arrangements and learn more about energy assistance at atlanticcityelectric.com/help or by calling 800-642-3780. Please contact us!
