
Atlantic City, NJ, Money Available To Help Residents With Rent & Energy
Atlantic City, New Jersey Marty Small has announced that money is being made available to help residents with rising rent and utilities costs.
Here’s The Program
- Mayor Small has confirmed that a $400,000 commitment in rental ($200K) and utility ($200K) assistance will be made available to help Atlantic City residents who are facing financial hardship.
Who Is Eligible?
Only Atlantic City residents are eligible. It is a program for Low-to-moderate residents and the program will adhere to State of New Jersey guidelines.
How To Apply
You must apply in person at Atlantic City Hall, 1301 Bacharach Boulevard, Room 103.
Key Details
- Rental applicants must provide a copy of lease, along with pay stubs, and additional required documents as required.
- Utility applicants must be past due, have a shut-off notice, and utilities must be in their name (water, electric, gas).
- Assistance includes case management through the Atlantic City Health & Human Services Department.
- individual aid is capped at $2,500 for rent and $1,000 for utilities assistance.
