There has always been a legitimate concern that we could face a second wave of COVID-19 as New Jerseyans retreat indoors during colder climate.

There is no doubt that positive cases are increasing at this time.

As recently as last Thursday, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy appeared to be open to the possibility of increasing the current 25 percent indoor capacity restrictions.

That is no longer the case.

On the most recent News 12 “Ask The Governor” Program, Governor Murphy said, “My guess is no at this point,” Murphy.

“I don’t say this with any amount of joy. The numbers have gone against us. I’m concerned that we sent mixed messages. These numbers are really sobering right now,” said Murphy.

Area restaurants are going to have to get very creative; using outdoor heaters and any other tactics to keep their businesses going.
