The Townsends Inlet Bridge was scheduled to be up and running by Memorial Day weekend, according to Sea Isle City officials and as reported by NJ.com, but work on the busy Cape May County bridge took even longer than expected.

The bridge, which connects Sea Isle City and Avalon, has been closed since last September.

Now, it looks like the bridge has another reopening date scheduled. Motorists, bicyclists, runners, pedestrians, and emergency crews will once again be able to use the bridge by July 30th, according to a new report in NJ.com.
