Raise your hand if you never saw this coming.

Members of the cast of MTV's Jersey Shore: Family Vacation spent some time Wednesday shooting footage at two Cape May County Wawas.

Three of the guys from Jersey Shore: Family Vacation: cast members Pauly "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, and Vinny Guadagnino made stops at the Villas and Wildwood Wawas on Wednesday.

We are hearing they were filming a commercial for Wawa's new pizza entree.

At the Villas Wawa, the three filmed inside the store as a large group of curious onlookers gathered around. Later, we are told the crew headed to the Wildwood Wawa to shoot some footage outside the store.

A worker at the Villas, Cape May County Wawa on Bayshore Road told me they were under strict orders not to give out any information about why Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast members came to far-flung Villas to do a camera shoot.

In one photo, Pauly D can be seen holding a box from the new Wawa pizza, leading some to think that the pizza could be the focus of the commercial shoot.

In Villas, a quiet bayside town in Lower Township that doesn't get much celebrity attention, word spread quickly about the film shoot.

After viewing photos of the film shoot on the Villas' Facebook page, reactions in the comments section varied from surprised and enthusiastic to shocked that their quiet little store was getting this attention.

Then, of course, there were the comments from non-fans of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation who weren't as supportive, to put it nicely. Hey, this is the internet, after all.

We haven't heard many details about the later film stop in Wildwood, other than the idea was to get some footage outside the store.

Season six of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is now airing on MTV Thursdays at 8 PM.
