Lower Township Police Searching for Juveniles Possibly Involved with a Car Fire

Lower Township Police are searching for information -- and possibly two or three juveniles -- in connection to a car that was set on fire early Thursday morning.

According to a press release, officers responded to the first block of East Delaware Parkway around 1:30 Thursday morning for the report of a car fire. Once extinguished, an investigation revealed that a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the car, which destroyed the vehicle. The vehicle owners told detectives they heard a noise out front, looked outside, and saw their car in flames. A witness told police two or three juveniles were seen fleeing the area just as the fire started, running East on Delaware Parkway.

A Turkey Hill bottle containing gasoline was recovered from inside the vehicle, which is being processed as evidence.
