Who Stole a Big Jersey Devil Statue From a Legendary NJ Restaurant?
Normally, most people (unless they're looking for YouTube views) don't intentionally look for the Jersey Devil -- but in this case, a restaurant deep in the Pine Barrens is.

But this isn't a ploy to get people to go on some wild goose chase in the middle of the woods.
Our travels today take us up County Route 539 into the Warren Grove section of Stafford Township to Lucille's Luncheonette, a nearly half-century-old eatery that people who are either just passing through or who are out to explore the pines love to visit. A true local landmark.

They are looking for the Jersey Devil because someone stole their life-sized carving of the mythical beast right from the front of their building.
Yes, someone stole the Jersey Devil.
And while the Jersey Devil is a savage monster that people have feared for generations, many in the Garden State will agree that you don't mess with folklore and you certainly don't mess with a mom-and-pop business.
The restaurateurs took to Facebook Saturday morning to share their news:
We have had a Devil of a Morning.. or maybe we should say "Devil- less" morning - we arrived to open to find out someone stole our wood carved Jersey Devil from out front.
The owners say they have already contacted Stafford Township Police and are reviewing security footage, however, they would love your help trying to find their landmark.
But if anyone has any info on our missing pal.. please reach out. We would like him returned. He has great sentimental value not just for us but our guests.
If you happen to see a several-foot-tall Jersey Devil carving, you can contact Lucille's Luncheonette at (609) 698-4474.
