Male Body Found in Water Near Longport

A male body was recovered from the water near the Ocean City-Longport Bridge Thursday afternoon.

The body is believed to be that of a missing 14-year-old boy from Philadelphia who was swept out to sea by a rip current last weekend in Ocean City. Police say a boater found the body around 12:30 Thursday afternoon and it was recovered by state troopers and members of the Coast Guard.
