Man fatally shot on the streets of Camden, NJ, in broad daylight
A man was fatally shot in Camden around lunchtime Friday.
Marcus Corbitt of Camden, NJ, Killed
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says at about 12:20 PM, the Camden County Police Department received a ShotSpotter alert for gunfire in the area of the 800 block of Princeton Avenue.
Upon arrival, cops found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
He was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
Authorities identified the victim as 24-year-old Marcus Corbitt of Camden.

An investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
