
19-year-old Wanted in 2 Separate Assaults Arrested in Atlantic City, NJ
A 19-year-old man from Atlantic City who was wanted on two separate assault warrants has been arrested.
At around 8:00 this past Monday evening, an officer with the Atlantic City Police Department saw Michael Rodriguez-Noyola riding a bicycle at California and Pacific Avenues.
Officer Zelaya-Chavez attempted to stop Rodriguez-Noyola when he fled on his bike on to the Boardwalk. Ultimately, Rodriguez-Noyola was taken into custody by responding officers near Sovereign and Pacific Avenues.
Police say he was found in possession of a loaded handgun and two officers sustained minor injuries in the chase.
Rodriguez-Noyola was wanted from two separate incidents that occurred in Atlantic City.

On April 28th and June 1st, officers responded to the same residence in reference to a woman being assaulted. Rodriguez-Noyola was criminally charged in both incidents.
Rodriguez-Noyola has been charged with the following:
- Unlawful possession of a weapon
- Possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose,
- Possession of hollow-point ammunition
- Possession of a defaced firearm
- Obstruction of justice
- Resisting arrest
- Simple assault (two counts)
- Terroristic threats
He was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
