Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut Hits 14 Million Guests

The Mohegan Sun Arena has reached 14 million guests in its 21-year history, with sold-out performances by New Kids on the Block Mixtape Tour, with En Vogue, Salt-N-Pepa, and Rick Astley.
The Mohegan Sun Arena is the # 1 venue of its kind for 2021, according to Pollstar and VenuesNow, in its top 10 venues in the United States, regardless of size and based
on ticket sales.
Cantone earned the 2021 “Innovator of the Year" from Celebrity Access for the Mohegan Sun Arena ViacomCBS residency.

The Mohegan Sun Arena has reached 4 million more guests since Toby Keith appeared in 2015, when they reached 10 million guests.

Jennifer Lopez, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, Kenny Cheney, Jay-Z, Fleetwood Mac, Britney Spears, Prince, Bruno Mars, Luke Combs, Keith Urban, Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé.
Cantone and his team also hosted Billy Joel's first-ever residency, which drew more than 100,000 people.

MOHEGAN SUN AREA FIRSTS:
The first-ever live event in Mohegan Sun Arena was on October 21, 2001. It was an NBA preseason basketball match- up between the Boston Celtics and the Washington Wizards. Michael Jordan was on the floor as an NBA Wizard Player.
A few weeks later, Tim McGraw took the stage as the first-ever concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
In a one-on-one interview with Cantone following last night’s 14 millionth guest, Cantone took none of the credit and passed all of it along to his team.
”It’s all about the team and never about one person,” said Cantone. “All of the results that we have achieved over the years are only possible because of each team member doing their job at the highest level,” said Cantone.
