More COVID-19 Testing Dates Added in Atlantic County

Today was the first of two dates for COVID-19 testing at Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing for Atlantic County residents. The second date is coming up this Thursday.

Now, officials will have the testing center open two days next week -- Tuesday, April 21st, and Thursday, April 23rd.

Like this week, testing will take place from 10AM to 1PM next week. In order to be tested, you must have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 -- if you don't have symptoms, you will not be tested. You will also need a prescription from your doctor or healthcare provider, you must be a resident of Atlantic County and be able to show proof of residency, and you must have an appointment. Residents with appointments must show up in a vehicle; you cannot walk-up or ride a bike through the testing area.

Earlier Tuesday, Atlantic County reported four new deaths and 16 new positive COVID-19 cases in the county. The total number of countywide cases stands at 292 with 13 deaths.
