Motorcycle Rider Seriously Injured in Parkway Crash in Toms River

New Jersey State Police are investigating an accident that took place near mile-marker 84.4 on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River Wednesday afternoon around 5:40 that tossed a motorcyclist from his bike.

Investigators say while traveling southbound, the operator of a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle collided with the rear of a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox. As a result of the collision, the motorcycle overturned and ejected the driver.

The driver of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries.

No further information has been released by State Police.
