NJ Transit Bus Involved In Crash; At Least 2 Hurt
New Jersey Transit says one of its Access Link paratransit buses has been involved in an accident in Maple Shade.
Spokesman William Smith says the driver, and the one passenger who was aboard, were both injured. He did not know the extent of their injuries.
NJ Transit involved in accident in Maple Shade
He says the bus was coming off Route 38 and was on a ramp for Kings Highway shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday when it was apparently hit from behind. He says the bus was pushed over a railing and came to rest against a tree.
He says the other vehicle was heavily damaged. He did not have information about its occupant or occupants.
The paratransit buses serve passengers with disabilities.
