Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Car in Atlantic City

A 64-year-old woman who was hit by a car in Atlantic City several days ago has died.

Atlantic City Police say on the night of July 6th, officers responded to the 1200 block of Atlantic Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 64-year-old woman from Atlantic City, was struck as she entered the road in the middle of the block.

She was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City with serious injuries. On July 11th, she died as a result of her injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, a 23-year-old woman from Upper Darby, PA, immediately stopped her vehicle.
