Phillie Phanatic and Friends on Ocean City Boardwalk for ‘Phillies Day at Manco & Manco’

The Philadelphia Phillies are getting close to clinching their third straight playoff berth, gearing up for what should be another exciting Red October run.

Before they get to the playoffs, South Jersey Phillies fans have an opportunity to enjoy some pizza and meet the Phillie Phanatic along with some former Phillies on the Ocean City Boardwalk for ‘Phillies Day at Manco & Manco.’

The event will take place on Tuesday, September 17, from 4:30-7:30 PM on the boardwalk at the 9^th Street Manco & Manco location.

Also in attendance will be some of the Phillies Ballgirls, and a few players from the memorable 1993 National League champions, including Milt Thompson and Mickey Morandini, who will be signing autographs and taking photos at Manco & Manco from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

After that, the Phanatic is scheduled to make his big entrance at 6:30 p.m. and rumor has it, he will be making Manco & Manco pizza for Phillies fans.

Some of the proceeds from the pizza sales will support Phillies Charities, Inc.

They are urging fans to arrive early to enjoy all the festivities.

Remember if you are going to a Phillies home game, Manco & Manco can now be found at Citizens Bank Park in Ashburn Alley, Pass and Stow, Miller Lite Liberty Landing, and behind Section 137. It is also located down in Clearwater during Phillies Spring Training and Thrashers games.
