Political Ally to Atlantic City, NJ Mayor Appointed to School Bd.
A very close political ally of Atlantic City, New Jersey Mayor Marty Small was appointed to the Atlantic City Board of Education on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
Geoffrey Dorsey, who is also the secretary of the Atlantic City Housing Authority - took the board seat at the last regular meeting of the Atlantic City Board of Education.
Dorsey takes the position formerly held by long-time board member Patricia Bailey, who resigned her position at the board meeting of July 16, 2024.
There is much political intrigue surrounding all of this. Some are speculating that Bailey may ultimately seek a City Council seat as a Small ally.
We also take this opportunity to offer our condolences and mourn the passing of Bailey’s son, who passed away two days ago.
Dorsey has a quite colorful background and he is an unconditionally, trusted Small political confidant.
The composition of the Atlantic City Board of Education is extremely important to Marty and La’Quetta Small.
It is disgraceful and unprecedented that La’Quetta Small was not immediately suspended from her position as superintendent of public schools … when she was criminally charged as follows below:
I have not been able to find an example anywhereIn the country, whereby a superintendent is criminally charged for child abuse, and is permitted to remain in the position with absolutely no discipline whatsoever. iIt’s outrageous.
LA'QUETTA SMALL is criminally charged with:
- 2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child.
- 3 separate counts of disorderly persons simple assault.
ATLANTIC CITY MAYOR MARTY SMALL is criminally charged with:
- 2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child.
- 3rd degree aggravated assault
- 3rd degree terroristic threats
- disorderly persons simple assault.
ATLANTIC CITY HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL, CONSTANCE DAYS-CHAPMAN is criminally charged
with:
- second-degree Official Misconduct.
- third-degree Hindering Apprehension of
- Another.
- fourth-degree Obstruction of Justice.
- disorderly persons Failure to Report Child Abuse.
Days-Chapman was promptly suspended following being criminally charged.
Finally, look how sneaky the Atlantic City Board of Education is. The Dorsey appointment is handwritten on the board agenda, see directly below,
Dorsey we have to undergo a criminal background check and the appointment is through December 31, 2024.
