Purdy Tells Atlantic County Elections Board ‘Get Off Their Asses’

The always blunt speaking Atlantic County Republican Party Chairman, Don Purdy is not holding back and he is ripping the Atlantic County Board of Elections.

Earlier today, Friday, November 10, 2023, Purdy told them to "Get off their asses and back to work.”

Purdy’s comments are so real and raw that we are not kea ing a single word out:

It’s absolutely pathetic that our Atlantic County Board of Elections went home on Election Night before every vote by mail ballot was processed, said Atlantic County Republican Chairman Don Purdy.  To make matters worse, the Board's Commissioners decided to take the rest of the week off when we've got races that are still too close to call and they're sitting on the ballots that will ultimately decide their outcomes! At a time when some many rightfully question the integrity of our electoral process, their lack of action has done nothing to assuage concerns and inspire confidence. I'm calling on the Board of Elections Republican and Democrat Commissioners to get off their asses and back to work, because the people of Atlantic County deserve nothing less, said Purdy.

In a long-form on-air interview (yesterday) that I conducted with New Jersey Senator Vince Polistina, R-2, he was highly critical of the fact that more than 1,000 ballots have not yet been counted and “they won’t count them until November 15th, which is unacceptable,” said Polistina.

Something must be done the vote-counting process.

The citizens will not have confidence in the election results when they are delayed for such an extended period of time.

For generations, winners were known on the evening of Election Day.

This has disintegrated into lengthy delays. Without prompt finality, citizens will doubt the results.
