Road Construction Could Cause Delays in Cape May County

Starting next week, travelers in Cape May County may encounter some delays around the Garden State Parkway due to road construction.

Starting Monday, April 1st, there will be detours starting on the north bound lanes at Shellbay Ave., Stone Harbor Blvd., and Crest Haven Rd. intersections. Each intersection should take about one week to complete. Northbound traffic will be diverted onto Route 9. Detours signs will be prominently displayed. When the north bound side is down, the detours will be switched to the south bound lanes. Detours will follow the same route in reverse.

The detours will run Monday through Thursday from 9PM to 5AM.
