Small Needs 3 Wins To Remain Mayor of Atlantic City, NJ
Atlantic City, New Jersey Mayor Marty Small has beaten the odds twice in the past when he prevailed at criminal trials (for election fraud) that would have ended his electoral public service career.
Small Has This Man To Thank For Everything
This is Ed Jacobs, the most prolific criminal defense attorney in Atlantic County, New Jersey history.
Jacobs is the architect of two previous successful Marty Small criminal trials.
Without Ed Jacobs, Small never would have become Mayor of Atlantic City.
It Won’t Be Easy For Marty Small This Time
The odds have never been more daunting for Small to continue as Mayor of Atlantic City.
Small will have to approach his mounting problems one at a time, as follows:
- Small must first win on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 in the Atlantic City Democrat Primary Election for Mayor versus Bob McDevitt. If Small loses, he will be out as Mayor (at the end of the year).
- A criminal trial awaits Mayor Small and his wife, La’Quetta Small. It’s currently scheduled for July, 2025, although I expect the start of the trial to be delayed. Should Small be convicted, on child abuse and/or witness tampering charges, he will forfeit his position as Mayor.
- Small will have to win the November, 2025 General Election for a new 4-year term as Mayor of Atlantic City.
Previous Atlantic City Mayoral Victories For Small
Marty Small was appointed Mayor of Atlantic City in 2019 after Mayor Frank Gilliam resigned following his criminal conviction.
Small initially ascended to become Mayor because he was the Atlantic City Council President.
Small won an election in 2020 to serve the remainder of Gilliam’s term and he was re-elected in 2021 for a full four-year term.
