Spirit Air Crew Base is Moving From Atlantic City, NJ, to Newark

Spirit Air has confirmed that there will be a crew base for pilots in New Jersey … as it moves from Atlantic City to Newark Liberty International Airport,

Back on April 8, 2024. We shared the news about major changes coming to Spirit Air and Atlantic City International Airport.

At the time, Spirit Air confirmed that they were closing their Atlantic City crew base and that further, the current Spirit staff will be reassigned.

At the time, they didn’t say where they would be reassigned.

Additionally, back in April, Spirit Air also confirmed that they are deferring the delivery of all aircrafts on order from Airbus that were scheduled to be delivered from Q2 2025 through 2026 ... they are now scheduled to be delivered in 2030 and 2031.
