A new scam targeting NJ drivers uses fake toll texts that look official. Prosecutors warn not to click links or enter personal info, as scammers are trying to steal identities and banking details.

The court case challenging the legality of the $50 fine imposed by the NJ Turnpike Authority for E-ZPass violations has not been resolved yet but things could soon move forward.

"It's getting E-ZPass in line with all our other electronic purchases," said Assemblyman Roy Freiman.

Police have arrested a man from Newark because they say he owes $88,000 in tolls and EZPass fees.

Cops busted a New Jersey man for not paying more than $78,000 in tolls and fees on his EZPass accounts.
