Chain-reaction crash in Monroe Twp.
According to a police investigation, a 19-year-old man from Sicklerville, driving a Nissan Altima, was heading westbound on Berlin-Cross Keys Road between Waynesborough Way and the Pike.
At the same time, a 19-year-old man from Shiloh, behind the wheel of a Hyundai Elantra, was also heading westbound ahead of the Altima.
Cops say that as the Altima approached the Elantra from behind, it began to pass it on the left, crossing a double-yellow line. As it passed, the driver hit the side of the Elantra and lost control.
Once out of control, the Altima crossed into opposing traffic where it hit a Chevy Equinox, which was being driven by a 41-year-old woman from Glassboro.
Following that collision, the Altima then spun, and it was hit by a 2025 Mazda C30, driven by a 27-year-old man from Galloway.
Fatality and Injuries
The 19-year-old driver of the Altima was killed in the accident.
Police say the woman from Glassboro suffered lower-body injuries while the man from Galloway had upper-body injuries.
Authorities did not elaborate on the injuries, nor did they identify any person in the accident.
