Teenager Struck By Car in Hamilton Township

A teenager was seriously injured after being struck by a car Monday evening in Hamilton Township.

Around 5:45 Monday evening, Hamilton Township Police say a 13-year-old girl was crossing the Black Horse Pike at Leipzig Avenue, near Hamilton Mall, when she was struck by a car. The girl sustained serious injuries and was taken to Atlanticare’s City Division Hospital in Atlantic City for treatment. The driver, Ann M. Meyers of Mays Landing, and her passenger were not injured. Officers continue their investigation.
