The Answer to ‘Scooby-Doo Where Are You’ – Egg Harbor Township, NJ
I was minding my own business … driving to Darrell’s Auto Repair in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey to have my car serviced.
Much to my surprise, directly in front of me was “The Mystery Machine” … or, at least my vivid imagination allowed my to dream that it was.
It was on the back end of tow truck, on Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
Growing-up, I loved the “Scooby-Doo Where Are You” cartoon.
It was produced by Hanna-Barbera for CBS television. The series premiered as part of the Saturday morning cartoon schedule on September 13, 1969.
Surprisingly, it initially only lasted for two seasons.
Yet, it has endured for more than 50 years in many different iterations … many different cartoons … including big screen movies.
Did you know that Scooby’s full name is, Scoobert "Scooby" Doo?
Generations have loved the cartoon series and the full-length movies … along with the very catchy theme song that almost everyone can sing.
I had to make my left-hand turn into Darrell’s Auto Repair … so, I had to turn-off my childhood dreams and get back to the real world.
As I turned-in, I gave one last thought about where was “The Mystery Machine” being towed to?
