OPINION EDITORIAL

Come on. Be honest. Did you ever think that you would live to see the “sovereign nation” of CHAZ established within America’s borders?

Yes, that’s right. CHAZ.

CHAZ stands for “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.

The national media either refuses to cover this disturbing story or they blatantly lie and report that it’s a peaceful movement.

Here’s the truth. Law breakers have taken control of seven blocks of Seattle, Washington.

In some cases they are heavily armed. People who live and have businesses within the nation of CHAZ have to present ID to gain entry.

Law enforcement has reported that the rulers of CHAZ are extorting money from residents.

The police are basically unwelcome. And, with The Mayor’s blessing, the anarchists have taken full control of a police station.

The Seattle Mayor is calling CHAZ, “The Summer of Love.” It’s insanity.

A 911 police call which used to take about 5-6 minutes, now takes 18-19 minutes to respond. That can be the difference between life and death.

I interviewed former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie this morning. You can listen to the interview on our WPG Talk Radio 95.5 smartphone app or website on our Podcast. The interview began at 9:35 a.m. this morning, along with former First Lady Mary Pat Christie.

Governor Christie stated that this is a dangerous situation. I asked him if this happened anywhere in New Jersey while he was governor, how would he have handled it?

Governor Christie advised that he would have ended it, before it had a chance to begin.

This has been going on for at least three days. Although the national media is glorifying this, it really is an occupation. An unlawful activity. A potential dangerous one.

Incredulously, the Seattle Mayor is defending the perpetrators over law abiding citizens.

It’s all a part of the current radical movement to defund, disband or dismantle our police departments throughout America.

President Donald Trump is urging the Seattle mayor and governor to handle this or he will.

CHAZ has made numerous demands. Free health care and income, along with many other unreasonable demands.

I am hopeful that this occupation will end as soon as possible. It would be terrible to see this emulated anywhere else in America.

Anarchy within our representative republic must not be tolerated. It’s very dangerous.
