Atlantic City is fighting hard for its relevance and acceptance as a clean and safe, world class, destination resort.

Despite all of the current challenges facing “The World’s Play Ground,” Visit Atlantic City actually has more business on their books now (and, into the future) than ever before.

Many will be shocked to learn this fact.

Here’s another important difference-maker, Mark Callazzo, the managing partner of RMS Capital and developer and the visionary behind many projects in the “Orange Loop” section of Atlantic City.

This once undesirable section of town is now a thriving business district.

Callazzo is living proof that you can transform any area when you commit to a vision of turning it around.

In Texas, there’s an expression, “All Hat and No Cattle.”

Talk is cheap.

Collazzo actually delivers results.

For example:

  • Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall.
  • Bar 32, which offers handcrafted chocolates and cocktails.
  • Cuzzie's Pizzeria, featuring delicious thin-crust pizza.

Earlier this week, we shared the news of Collazzo’s latest vision, “The Top Hat” Boutique Hotel.

This is a perfect concept for Atlantic City, as it will have a Monopoly (board game) theme.

It will feature a short-term rental component, consisting six meticulously designed bedrooms, which will accommodate up to 12 guests.

In addition, there will be a rooftop deck that will have sweeping views of Atlantic City.

There will also be a commercial space that will help will help local businesses to thrive, because of more while economic activity within the Orange Loop.

"The Top Hat at The Orange Loop is a game changer for Atlantic City,” said Callazzo.

“We're not just building a structure - we're creating a space that will serve as a landmark for residents and visitors alike.

Collazzo has taken a dead zone of Atlantic City and has successfully transformed it into a vibrant district.

Collazzo sees “The Top Hat” as much more than just a building. He believes that it will serve as a symbol of what allows Atlantic City to reinvent itself, by demonstrating resilience.

Collazzo also has plans for the 1st Quarter, 2025 to develop a container park in Atlantic City.

This only works when innovators and visionaries like Mark Callazzo come along.
