
Tip From Citizen Leads to Drug Arrest in Atlantic City
A tip from a concerned citizen of Atlantic City lead to the arrest of a Pleasantville man and 900 bags of heroin being seized.
Atlantic City Police say they received a tip about drug activity from a hotel room at the Days Inn on the 3000 block of Boardwalk around 9:30 Wednesday morning. An investigation led to the arrest of 21-year-old Lamir King of Pleasantville and the recovery of 900 individual bags of heroin and $4,800 in cash.
King was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, and possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone. King was released on a summons with a future court date.
