Two Arrested On Drug-related Charges in Brigantine
Cops in Brigantine say they arrested two people last Saturday afternoon on drug-related charges.
According to authorities, 30-year-old Ivan A. Diaz of Brigantine was arrested and charged with possession of CDS, conspiracy to possess CDS, and loitering/wandering to obtain CDS. 32-year-old Chad B. Ifill of Atlantic City was arrested and charged with possession of CDS, distribution of CDS, and conspiracy to possess CDS.
The Brigantine Police Department says at about 1:50 Saturday afternoon, a detective saw two men near Wawa at 3932 Brigantine Blvd. who were, "engaging in behavior consistent with the sale and purchase of illegal drugs."
The two men were stopped by police and an investigation, which also involved a police officer from Linwood and his K-9 partner, yielded one brick (50 bags) of heroin that was being sold from one man to the other. A small quantity of suspected crack cocaine and ecstasy were seized at the location as well.
Both men were charged on summonses and released with a future court date in Superior Court.
