Two Seriously Injured in Wildwood Crest Boat Crash

Two people were seriously injured in a collision between two boats Monday night on Sunset Lake near Wildwood Crest.

A U.S. Coast Guard spokesman said two boats, one carrying two people and the other with three people aboard, crashed into each other about 9PM Monday and multiple people were thrown into the water.

NJ.com is reporting that the injured taken to the Schooner Island Marina, where local emergency crews were waiting. Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
